Learn MoreMy research has oscillated between my two backgrounds of computer science and political science.
At present, I have three main research areas: the first is the teaching of web development, the second is the general pedagogy of computing education, while the other is on the social effects of computing, esp. the effect of ICT on reading and attention.
I am a professor in the department of Mathematics and Computing at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Canada. I also teach in my university’s General Education department. My teaching specialties are web application development and technology and society studies.
